BAR or Baker’s Artisanal Recipes of chocolate was created with love to cater to the needs of bakers and confectioners across India. We wanted to provide premium couverture chocolate BARs, with handpicked ingredients and a convenient design keeping the baker in mind.

Our goal is to ensure that all chocolates used by you for baking must have genuine and healthy doses of cocoa butter. This will not only mean that you are using natural and authentic ingredients, but also take your cakes, cookies and other bakes to the next level of yumminess (if that’s even a word?!).

  • BAKER'S(UTILITY)

    We collaborated with Baker’s to help design our BAR and packaging, which will be both convenient to handle and easy to use. We provide a mould with easy 100gram markings, this keeps our couverture and your kitchen clean! We also provide our BARs in resealable pouches, this means you don’t need to go hunting for a Ziploc, if you’ve just nibbled on our scrumptious chocolate. This is an ongoing process so please Baker’s if you’re listening keep that feedback coming, we’re your brand and we’re here to make your life easier.

  • ARTISANAL (QUALITY)

    Very early on we took a decision on just concentrating on only premium quality Couvertures, we chose the right cocoa butter and powder for our mix and ensured that we temper with precision, to get the our perfect phase V crystal structure in our chocolates. The kind that simply melts in your mouth. We also believe in having a minimalistic assortment and small batches, we do this to churn the highest quality of chocolate and constantly #raisetheBAR

  • RECIPES (POSSIBILITY)

    We at BAR want to create a community of Baker’s who share there recipes and creations, and help bake the world a better place! Our two series’ namely BARofChoc Diaries and BARofChoc post its are a collection of curated recipes from professionals and home bakers alike. Our chocolate is inclusive and diverse, from vegan to varying degrees of cocoa content, sugar to sugar-free, for children and adults alike. We open our arms to all kinds of baker’s and all degrees of experience to share their recipes and make the world slightly sweeter. #noholdsBARred

Effects on health

Couverture chocolate contains cocoa butter, which has been shown to maintain cholesterol levels in the body, combat kidney problems and improve heart health. Compound chocolate contains hydrogenated vegetable fats, which counteract the health benefits of cocoa. These fats can damage the arteries and cause cardiovascular problems in the long run.
